Volunteer Drive Exceeds Expectations

We're thrilled to report that our latest volunteer drive has exceeded all expectations, with our dedicated team registering over 200 new voters this quarter alone in Wright County. This remarkable achievement demonstrates the power of grassroots organizing and the commitment of our volunteer base.

Record-Breaking Results

The voter registration drive, which ran from October through December 2023, saw volunteers working tirelessly across Wright County to engage with citizens and help them register to vote. The 200+ new registrations represent a 35% increase over our previous quarterly record.

"Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization," said Volunteer Coordinator Lisa Wilson. "Their dedication to expanding voter participation in Wright County is truly inspiring and shows what we can accomplish when we work together."

Community Outreach Efforts

The success of this drive can be attributed to several key initiatives:

  • Door-to-door canvassing in Clarion, Eagle Grove, and Belmond
  • Voter registration booths at local events and festivals
  • Partnerships with local businesses and community organizations
  • Outreach at Wright County Fair and other community events
  • Targeted efforts in rural areas of the county

Volunteer Spotlight

Special recognition goes to our top volunteers who went above and beyond:

  • Margaret Stevens - 32 new voter registrations
  • Tom Bradley - 28 new voter registrations
  • Jennifer Martinez - 24 new voter registrations

These dedicated individuals spent countless hours engaging with their neighbors and demonstrating the importance of civic participation in Wright County.

Looking Forward

Building on this success, we're launching our 2024 "Every Vote Counts" initiative, which aims to register 1,000 new voters before the November election. We're also expanding our volunteer training programs to ensure we have the resources needed to meet this ambitious goal.

If you're interested in joining our volunteer team, please contact us through our website or attend one of our monthly volunteer meetings held the first Saturday of each month at 10 AM in Clarion.
